The menu price and the quote that follows it
The first number a Dubai clinic shows you is almost always the friendliest one. Rhinoplasty from AED 20,000. Gynecomastia from AED 9,999. Liposuction from AED 2,000, which turns out to mean a single small area, one pass, nothing else. Across the Dubai clinic menus and booking flows we checked, the headline figure sits at the top of the page like a welcome, and the surgeon's actual plan arrives later, in the consultation, usually higher and almost always wider than the teaser suggested.
That gap is the real story of plastic surgery here. A liposuction page can open at AED 2,000 and end the same paragraph at AED 35,000 once the technique is named. A facelift listed from AED 15,000 is a mini quote, while the deep plane version the same clinic offers runs past AED 100,000. None of this is a trick exactly. It is the difference between the simplest possible case and the operation most people are actually booking. We sorted the category below the way a reader meets it, by what each procedure does, what it costs in Dubai in 2026, how recovery actually runs, and how to read a quote and a licence before you sign anything.

The treatments, sorted by the job they do
Alphabetical lists do not help anyone choose. Grouping by what the procedure actually does is faster, so here is the category by region of the body.
Face. Rhinoplasty reshapes the nose, by closed technique (incisions inside the nostrils) or open (a small bridge incision for more visibility on complex work), with revision rhinoplasty correcting an earlier result and running harder and dearer. A facelift repositions deeper tissue and removes lax skin, and the deep plane version lifts the muscle layer itself for a longer-lasting, less pulled result. Blepharoplasty addresses heavy or hooded eyelids, upper, lower, or both. Otoplasty sets prominent ears closer to the head, often done young.
Breast. Augmentation adds volume, either with implants (saline, silicone, or cohesive gummy bear) or with the patient's own fat transferred from elsewhere. A breast lift, mastopexy, raises and reshapes without necessarily adding size, ranging from a smaller donut technique to a fuller anchor pattern. A reduction removes tissue and skin to relieve weight and reshape.
Body and contour. Liposuction removes localised fat deposits and is a contouring tool, not a weight-loss method. A tummy tuck, abdominoplasty, removes excess skin and repairs separated abdominal muscle, which is why it is not a substitute for losing weight and is not reversible. A BBL, the Brazilian butt lift, takes fat by liposuction and grafts it to the buttocks. Gynecomastia surgery treats enlarged male breast tissue, sometimes by liposuction alone, sometimes with direct glandular excision when there is firm tissue to remove.
Combined. A mommy makeover bundles procedures, typically a tummy tuck plus breast surgery (augmentation or lift) plus liposuction, into one operation and one recovery. The cost and the downtime scale with whatever is actually in the plan, so two mommy makeovers are rarely the same operation.
If you are weighing surgery against the non-surgical options sitting next to it on the same menu, the Bellora directory lists both, and the consultation is where a good surgeon will tell you which one your case calls for.

What it costs in Dubai, 2026
Here is the working picture across public Dubai clinic price pages, mid-2026. Read every bar as a range, not a price.
INDICATIVE MARKET ESTIMATE
The spread inside each bar is not vagueness, it is technique. For rhinoplasty, closed sits low, open higher, and revision higher again because there is scar tissue and an earlier result to undo. A breast lift moves with the pattern, a small donut lift costs less than a full anchor. Breast augmentation tracks the implant: saline is the cheapest, silicone mid-range, cohesive gummy bear the dearest. Gynecomastia depends on whether it is liposuction alone or glandular excision, and a facelift depends on whether it is the traditional lift or the deep plane technique, which is the difference between the AED 30,000 floor and the AED 165,000 ceiling on the chart.
The teaser numbers deserve naming directly. Liposuction from AED 2,000 is one small area on a basic technique, while Vaser 4D or high-definition lipo runs AED 25,000 to 35,000 and up. Gynecomastia from AED 9,999 is a liposuction-only starting case, against a typical average nearer AED 20,000. A facelift from AED 15,000 is a mini or entry quote, not the full procedure. A tummy tuck from AED 18,000 is the menu floor, an entry or mini quote rather than the standard operation, with a mini nearer AED 25,000, a full abdominoplasty closer to AED 35,000 to 45,000, and an extended version reaching AED 60,000. Every from price is the simplest single case. The quote you receive is built around your anatomy, not the menu.
Recovery, and how long the result lasts
The recovery timeline is where expectations get set, and where good surgeons are honest in the consultation.
Rhinoplasty. Swelling peaks early, most people see real improvement by 3 to 6 months, and the final tip shape can take up to a year to settle. Thicker, more melanin-rich skin holds swelling at the tip for longer, and that skin is the rule here rather than the exception, so ethnic rhinoplasty is planned to refine the nose while keeping the patient's own features, not to impose a single template.
Tummy tuck. Desk work is realistic at weeks 3 to 4, full exercise at 6 to 8 weeks, and the scar keeps maturing for around 12 months before it fades to its final state. The muscle repair is permanent, but significant weight change or a later pregnancy can undo the contour.
Face and eyes. A traditional facelift result holds for roughly 7 to 10 years, the deep plane version 10 to 15, because it repositions a deeper layer that descends more slowly. Blepharoplasty lasts a long time, around 7 to 15 years, since you do not regrow the skin and fat that were removed.
Breast implants. These are 10 to 20 year devices, not lifetime ones. The old rule that they must be swapped at 10 years came from early manufacturer warranties and is outdated. Replacement should follow imaging and clinical assessment, not a calendar. One figure worth carrying into the consultation: roughly 4.1% of primary augmentations show grade III or IV capsular contracture, the firm, distorting scar capsule, by 10 years.
Choosing a clinic safely in Dubai
Regulation here is specific, and it is worth knowing what the rules actually say before you read a single quote.
The Dubai Health Authority licenses every surgeon, anaesthesiologist, nurse and facility involved in a procedure, and each of those licences is verifiable before you book. For liposuction the DHA rules are concrete: the procedure is consultant-led, total aspirate is capped at 5,000 ml in a single procedure, a minimum of two nurses must be present, and a Foley catheter is required once more than 3,000 ml is removed. Skin-opening lifting procedures and fat-dissolving work are surgeon-only, not delegated to a technician.
The procedure to ask the hardest questions about is the BBL. It carries the highest mortality of any cosmetic operation, and the cause is fat embolism, fat entering the bloodstream through a deep vein and travelling to the lungs or heart. The safety discipline lives in the surgeon's technique, not the clinic's postcode: fat placed only in the subcutaneous plane, never into or under the muscle, a cannula 4 mm or larger so it cannot slip into a vein, and real-time ultrasound guidance. Florida recorded 25 BBL fat-embolism deaths between 2010 and 2022, and 14 of those happened after the subcutaneous-only rule was published, which is exactly why the question to ask is about how the surgeon places fat, not whether the clinic looks expensive.
When you read a quote, look for what is excluded as much as what is named. A from price usually leaves out anaesthesia, the facility fee, the surgical garment, follow-ups, and any second area. Ask which technique the number assumes, what the all-in figure is, who holds which DHA licence, and what the realistic recovery looks like for your case. A clinic that answers all four plainly is telling you something about how it will behave after the deposit clears.
